Easton, MD. - While website design isn't a standard service we offer, we recently had the opportunity to learn a new design tool and wanted a real-world project to test it out. The team at Ruby’s Cake Shoppe & Pastries—a local shop we genuinely love—trusted us to experiment with their site.
Our focus was to make their website straightforward and easy to use. We reorganized the layout so their customers can quickly find important details, like daily updates and newsletter subscriptions. By cleaning up the structure and using their established brand colors, we built a digital space that is functional, organized, and reflects the welcoming feel of their bakery.

Piedras Negras, México. - For the Tercer Espacio Book Club, our main goal was to create a design that reflects the real people who make up their community. The original graphic used generic illustrations and mixed English and Spanish, which made the core message a bit confusing.
We decided to take a much more human and direct approach. We replaced the drawings with a real photo of the group, making the invitation feel welcoming and personal. We also unified the text into Spanish, changing "Book Club" to "Club de Lectura," and organized the most important details—like the date, the location at Casa de la Cultura, and the fact that it's a free activity—using clear layouts that are easy to read. The result is a straightforward, functional piece that shows the authentic side of this community.

A soft, nature-inspired woodland theme.
Easton, MD. - This project is incredibly personal for us. As close friends of the new family, we are actually hosting this upcoming baby shower ourselves. We decided to use our own studio, Everlight, to ensure the creative direction for the event is elegant, cohesive, and completely unforgettable.
As seen in the Digital invitation and the accompanying animation, we chose a soft, nature-inspired woodland theme for the invitations and conceptual art. By using delicate watercolor elements like mushrooms, birds, and greenery, we've established a warm and welcoming atmosphere right from the very first touchpoint before the big day arrives.
Beyond looking beautiful, the design is highly practical. We incorporated QR codes so guests can effortlessly find the gift registry and RSVP. The layout cleanly organizes special activities, such as a diaper raffle and a request to bring baby books. A standout feature of this piece is "The Newborn Life Line"—a thoughtful section designed to help the parents organize hands-on community support during the baby's first three months. This project is a perfect example of how we blend heartfelt, elegant design with clear, organized communication.
